Galeria Pontes exhibits works by the artist Alex dos Santos in a partnership with Galeria Brasiliana, sponsored by Sagatiba. This event discloses a great painter to the São Paulo market, something long unseen in the Brazilian Popular Art scenario.
Time of the exhibit: Monday through Friday, 10 A.M. to 7 P.M, and Saturday, 10 A.M. to 5 P.M..

Contemporary
art exhibition designed by Galeria Central with the participation of
Galeria Pontes, consisting of paintings, drawings, sculptures, objects,
fashion items, design, assemblages and photography, including big names
in popular art and incorporating (the) Galeria Olido in the Off-Bienal
circuit.
Curators: Danilo Blanco, Edna Matosinho de Pontes, Fernando Zelman e Luis Castañón.
From August 12 to October 3 - Tuesday to Sunday, from 1 P.M. to 8 P.M..

The
Pontes Basement:
The Basement displays a certain magic, evoking surprises and
discoveries, stimulating the imagination. This basement was prepared to
host the exhibition "It's All Ours",
with works by Palumbo, Rodrigo Rosner, Jaime Prades, Danilo Blanco,
Orlando Pedroso, Magy Imoberdorf, among others. This new space is meant
to show both consecrated and new contemporary talent under the
direction of Galeria Central.

Please visit the new special space within the Gallery, full of
beautiful and original objects. You can find charming and different
gifts, all of them with an excellent price.
Coffee:
"Inside the garden of the house, one of the nicest and most
agreeable places of the Gallery was created. Surrounded by flowers,
trees and works of art, there is a Café that opens from 10 A.M.
to 7 P.M., where they serve, besides a delectable coffee made with
freshly ground seeds, several kinds of tea with different flavors and
origins, exquisite juices and mouth-watering sandwiches. The highlight
is the unforgettable “Cabeça de Negro” cake, a
recipe brought by Manoela Pontes, the owner’s mother-in-law,
filled and covered with a sauce of made with Brazil nuts and black
plums." |
